Duty Hours Of Intensive Category

Respected sir,

why the rostered duty hours of intensive category are fixed taking into account all seven days of a week?

whereas duty hours of other categories are fixed by taking into account only six days of a week! is this not

voilate international labour organisations' recomondation which states "six days for the employer and one day

for the employee.To do so the duty rosters of intensive cadre are prepared in a such a way that they are called

Factories Act 1948

The Government of India has enacted this Act during 1948 to provide safeguard to the workers against exploitation by the employers and to ensure their safety, health and welfare. This Act also provides minimum period of rest , payment of wages for extra hours of duty and enjoins on the employer certain obligation towards the employee.
