is Diploma in Railway Engineering equivalent to 3 year diploma in general.

what is the benifit of doing that?

as i m +2 with science and graduate with history with ignou.

is Diploma in Railway Engineering help us  in promotion from group c to j.e or group d to c or j.e?

is Diploma in Railway Engineering is a degree for j.e departmental?

all my question is only in concern regarding depatmental exams and not out of railway.

No. It is not equivalen to 3 year Diploma. It is recognised only by the Railway Board for employment purposes.

As per Railway Board instructions ASM, Traffic Apprentice exam you get priority f you pass IRT. It applies also to departmental candidates.
