I have been absorbed on 15.07.1991 as PWM in 1400-2300 scale. Presently this post is upgraded and known as SR.PWS with 4200 GP. Thereafter I was promoted as JE/II on 01.04.1997 (Present GP 4200); JE/I on 01.11.2003 (Present GP 4200) and SSE on 01.07.2008 (Present GP 4600).
As I had completed 20 years in 2011, am I eligible for GP 4800? Personnell officers are saying that since I was promoted in 1997 I will be eligible for 4800 from 2017 only. But in my 1997 promotion both PWM and JE/II are in same GP of 4200. Kindly reply.
